About this Hike: Mount Gardner on Bowen Island is a full-day hike that ascends to the telecommunications towers at the summit of the island. A short walk from the ferry terminal in Snug Cove leads to Crippen Regional Park, our jumping-off point to the trailhead to Mount Gardner. This is a loop trail that runs alongside Killarney Lake before it rises steadily through winding trails to the helicopter landing platforms at the top. This hike affords spectacular views of Gambier Island and Howe Sound, the Coast Mountains, Gibsons and the Sechelt Peninsula.
To sign up: Send an e-mail to outdoorsmenbc@yahoo.ca by Sunday June 5th. Please indicate whether you need, or can provide transportation to and from Horseshoe Bay.
