Suits Dinner Club - A Wok Around Chinatown

Suits is a monthly dinner for HIV+ gay working men which takes place at various Vancouver-area restaurants on the last Monday of each month.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's no secret that off-duty chefs love to shop for themselves and choose from the freshest local and exotic fruits, vegetables, seafoods, and meats. And where do they go? Chinatown!

Get to know this colourful district from a culinary and cultural perspective with the entertaining and knowledgeable Robert Sung, owner/founder of  A Wok Around Chinatown for an informative 30-minute walking tour of Vancouver's Chinatown followed by a delicious Chinese dinner.

"The purpose of this evening is to celebrate and to share my Heritage from a Culinary and Cultural approach AND to have a lot of fun at the same time. Please join me....you will enjoy it!!!!!"

  • Cost: $25.00 per person (including tax & gratuity) (does not include alcoholic beverage)

The adventure meanders through the diverse specialty shops and vendors, featuring products from barbequed crispy ducks, teas, herbal medicines to cookware supplies, viewing historical landmarks, a Taoist Temple, and more.

For those who can't make it for the tour, Dinner will be at 6.00 at Newtown Bakery & Restaurant 158 East Pender Street 

The tour will be rain or shine so please dress appropriately.
