Community Ambassador contract positions

POSITIVE LIVING BC’s Community Ambassador Team is a proactive and outgoing team responsible for working alongside Vancouver Coastal Health's STOP HIV nurses to increase awareness about HIV testing sites and the value of HIV testing.

Ambassadors provide information about the new realities of living with HIV and related programs and services throughout Vancouver for people newly diagnosed with HIV or people seeking to reengage in HIV care, treatment and support. This includes providing direct linkages to the Peer Navigators of POSITIVE LIVING BC.

This is a contract position requiring between 20 and 40 hours work per month on a fee for service basis of $20.26 per hour.

These positions would be well suited for outgoing people who are OK about sharing their HIV status in public. For more information please see the attached contract posting.
