Community Based Research Facilitator

The Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network (CAAN) is a well-known not-for-profit coalition of individuals and organizations which provides leadership, support and advocacy for Aboriginal individuals living with and affected by HIV and AIDS, regardless of where they reside. CAAN is currently seeking to fill the role of Community-based Research Facilitator (CBRF) for Western Canada.

Reporting to the Research and Policy Manager, the CBRF acts as a resource person to support and apply a strategic approach to building capacity in the Aboriginal community with respect to community-based research that addresses HIV and AIDS in the Aboriginal population.
