Shawn completed his 200-hour Hatha yoga training with Semperviva Yoga and is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance.
He became involved in yoga more than two years ago during a struggling time in his life. Yoga provided the balance needed during this time of transition and allowed him to garner a deeper perspective into life's challenges and how to cope with more fluidity.
Since first delving deeper into the practice Shawn has explored various styles, such as Hatha, Power Vinyasa, Yin, Vijnana and Kundalini, and has studied with Seane Corn, Janet Stone and with various teachers at Semperviva here in Vancouver.
Regular practice provides the grounding needed to explore oneself, to open one’s mind, heart and body with the flow of breath, allowing for unification of oneself, and also with those in the community as a whole.
